>>1222129you bet anon. remember to take it easy. you are not used to the feeling of that muscle group complaining and it might be tough to tell the difference between general soreness, and your feet warning you to cut it out for a week or so. you might start with seriously just 1 mile in your sandals every 2 days for a really long time and see success but, we good to your feet afterwards. massage them. I fell for the barefoot running meme and went from running 6-10 miles every other day to 2-3 miles every other day barefoot, and got achilles tendinosis and bursitis. it was 6 months before i could walk all day without pain, let alone run again. I *have* had a friend who wore the vibrams 5 finger shoes without any troubles at all, tho. i didn't follow any regimen or anything. he just never ran or walked on hard surfaces. they were his river shoes, his walk around the house and yard shoes, his camping at the lake shoes, etc.
good luck anon. good to see someone taking time to show respect to history. good on you.
