Imagine an /out/ village of cozy warm log cabins and adobes with smoke coming from the chimneys looking out on to the mountains. Everyone could build their own house. The houses could be arranged circularly around a central village pond too. Vertical farms could feed everyone while requiring minimal space. That's a world I could live in.
