If I know I'm going for LMB tho, I will run larger than a #2. I like #3-#4 depending on how big they are.
And for some reason, everybody seems to reccommend the bare hook Mepps for trout, and the dressed ones for basically everything else.

>>1045398Yeah you just gotta grab it right with the pliers and jam it back in. But bass are easier to unhook than lots of other fish with more fleshy mouths. One time I hooked a snek in the tongue and I damn near ripped his lower jaw off trying to get my Mepps back.
