Not my picture, but this illustrates why I like to go there. I camp out near this spring, which is over 180 degrees F at the source, but cools off enough to soak in. There are a few informal campsites, but no pit toilet, so make sure to do your business the proper way, far from campground and water. The freight trains don't come by too often, but they are pretty fast here, a long straight section.
Another nice feature is you can place an unopened can of food (remove the label so it doesn't make a mess) or one of those sealed boil-in-bag things in the hot source (very carefully), have a nice soak, and your food plenty hot when you're ready for it.
But all the hot springs are off-limits to Burners during the event, and probably crowded as hell before and after.
