Why not just take the can, put a couple holes in it, feed a wire through the holes, and then affix it to a tripod made from sticks, and then build a little fire underneath? You can then boil water in the can and roast sausage over the coals. If you're trying to be discreet about the flame, you can make it a Dakota fire hole.
