If you're looking for a summer hat to keep the UV off ALL parts of your face, a baseball cap will not cut it. You need something with close to a 4 inch brim. If your're working outside and bending over, wider is better. No reason to buy a $200 Akubra, plenty of cheap hats that do a trick. If the brim is wide, you want some stiffness in the brim so the wind doesn't blow it around. There is a company called Shelta that makes hats with a stiff windproof brim, theyre kinda silly looking but its better than aging your facial skin.
Remeber, UV damage is cumulative and irreversible
