The chard in the polytunnel seems to be hanging on. Everything warmed up and walking through the yard is terrible with all the soft soil. I have nearly everything I need to build 1 shelving unit for starts. I should be starting that tomorrow I hope.
>>1186904>How is that different than a cold compost pile?It is the exact same thing. It just also happens to be vermicomposting. The most "me-not-doing-anything" efficient method.
>What kind of stuff do you throw in there?Everything except meat and bones. I prefer to run most stuff through my chickens first. I'm slowly making plans to move things around so that the compost piles are in a chicken area so they can constantly pick through it. It is just open, no containing of any kind. I really prefer what I did before and toss it all in a new raised bed, but all my raised beds now have usable soil in them. That method was even easier.
