I'm getting sick of sitting inside all winter. I'm usually a lake fisherman going for panfish, bass, walleye, Pike etc. But I don't really want to wait until May when the season opens up here in Wisconsin. I decided to try my hand at some trout this year (since the season starts Jan 5th) the only experience I have with them is catching a few off the side of a dirt road on my way home one day. I got some waders coming in the mail, so do I pretty much just find a class 1 or 2 spring fed Creek and throw some mepps upstream to get started? The air temp is going to be in the teens and twenties most days for the next month but springwater creeks should be in the 40s any other tips for starters? Also, Live bait is banned til may, and I'll be using a spinning rod
