My hand has touched the flame, though I only barely came out with a slight burn. I don't care what it takes or cost, "economical" be damned. I will not subject my plants and soil to that kind of abuse. This week I'm going around and collecting the ingredients to make my own soil blend. There's a nice local nursery nearby so hopefully they might be helpful.
God, I feel so dirty. Stevia seeds are so small, so I was unable to find them again in the soil, indistinguishable from the rest of it. Had to just throw it out. RIP three seeds, but it's a better fate.
