I'm more than happy to pay taxes knowing that the next time I chop something or get hit by a car I'm going to roll out of hospital without a bill. They've saved my cousins life and performed surgery on my sister that made her life easier to live.
No one here pays 60% income tax anon. In fact iirc the highest rate is 45% and then you need to be earning >150k a year.
I understand national health care is a hot topic for some, and there is a lot of missinformation around it. I feel sorry for those who don't have access to it
