I grew up rural, lived in a few major cities over a period of years, and am back to living rurally, so I've seen both sides Frankly I find that only seething tryhard urbanfags are quite as zealous and gung-ho as you are about "all outdoors, all the time!," because it's a coping mechanism for the fact that you live in a $2,000/mo. concrete coffin and are stuck in traffic for 90%+ of your life.
Balanced individuals love to be /out/ but they sometimes want to eat at a nice restaurant and visit a museum, too.
