so far? appalachia ha been pretty cool. had some good times in florida too, but the heat/humidity is murderous even to a native.

ADVENTURE. and peace. i am a very Tech savvy person, and my job also involves technology, and dealing with people who are significantly less savvy. going /out/ is a number of things to me.
an escape from the stress i am accustomed to.
a return to the basic aspects of being human.
an opportunity to appreciate how fucking awesome our little mudball is.
a challenge and a different kind of stress. problemsolving.

jeep. it's name is Crawley, and it's adorable.

longer is better.

exploring, or sitting around the fire with friends, telling stories or talking about life in general.

groups of people coming out to get drunk and play loud music nearby where i happen to be camping. (so far, so good)

i love music. i really do. i don't think i could live my normal life without it. in the woods however, i prefer to be alert. no music.

9. Give us your a favorite tip/technique for being innawoods
always scout around a prospective campsite to ensure that all trees are tall enough to touch your camp are in fact still alive or sufficiently impeded from trying to cuddle up with you if it gets windy while you sleep.
