>>2548739This is just over 13lbs without food or water. This setup was for a three day trip maybe a year ago, with lows around 40° and highs near 80°. There was some rain in the warmer weather, as well as a road walk with little shade. Weather would change a few things, and I’d bring more underwear on a longer trip.
The two green things on the left are Jacks R Better quilts; a 20° 3/4 length and a 40° full length.
The long thing up top is a Warbonnet Mamajamba tarp in a snake skin. It’s 30d nylon, which I think is 1.4oz per square yard.
Right of the quilts is an umbrella.
Small green thing under the tarp is an inflatable pillow, I think it’s made by ExPed.
Below that in the black bag are 12’ polyester webbing straps, 6 stakes, and extra guy lines.
The red bag to the right is the hammock (Dutchware Hexon 1.1 netless) with a Wilderness Logics bugnet.
Below that is a Sea to Summit sleeping bag liner
Above the ziplocks is a Fancy Feast alcohol stove with a soda can wind screen
Ziplocks are bare bones first aid, repair tools, extra lighter, sudoku book, map, compass…
Head net and head lamp just below those
Trowel is from when Ali Express wasn’t in the common lexicon, much less selling the same thing.
Tent poles are for setting up the hammock in storm mode, or as a tent pole mod.
I use chemicals instead of a squeeze filter. It is lighter, but I didn’t do it to save weight. That’s the blue bag and the small bottles on top.
Very top right are water bottles. Smart Water bottles are a great shape, being tall rather than wide, and smooth so they slide in and out of pockets easily. The small bottle is the same shape, and fits into a shoulder pocket for convenience.
Orange bag is for food
The pot is a 12cm Imusa with a lid I bought online. Pretty cheap.
Two changes of socks, one set of clean sleep clothes, and a fleece.
