You never bought land, only a permit to do a limited set of actions on a plot of land from the real people in control of that land. You're a complete cucklord if you enable the system to have control of all of the land and its resources. You were born on that land, you have the right to use to it how you see fit while respecting natural rights of others, not whatever nonsense restrictions people hundreds of miles away from you decide.
