Victorinox covers some range. The big ones could cover minimal primary tool duties, but most of /out/ needs something at least twice as large and made from harder steel.
But from pocket tools over EDC kit blades to powerful multitools and serious carving tools, they make a nice backup in the woods.
The steel is HRC 56 (blade edge) cro-moly steel. It's a pain to sharpen, but it works. It won't hold the edge like carbon steel, but it will last forever. And should you manage to break it just get it to them and they'll fix it for free, they're all life long warranty as a matter of principle.
When shopping for one I suggest going for a minimal approach. The wood saws are excellent and the scissors usable. The micro screwdriver inside the corkscrew is a brilliant add-on if you carry glasses or shades.
Here's a former teacher who works for them now, writing books and making YT vids for kids and parents.
