As someone who's used manure my whole life and seen how much plants like it, I'm really intrigued by this and its implications. Does this imply that plants respond more to the micronutrients in the manure, or is the healthier growth a byproduct of the manure improving soil structure/feeding soil organisms? I'm assuming that nobody actually knows yet, but if anyone has links to scientific research on the subject I'd love to see it.
