>>2460033Friend was a french soldier and got me boxes of french 24 hour MREs for fishing. They contain an esbit stove each, not the foldable, just a sheet of metal you can bend into a stove. They also come with 6 large tablets each. I had a drawer full of them and sold some at ebay. I still have a bunch, but they stink, so i don't use them.
I bought a bunch of large, cheap gas canisters, i think 450g each. I then got an adapter to refill my one small 100g canister.
Finally i have a few old style pierce canisters and the stove and lamp at home in case of emergency, picrel.
