>>1600688>What do you own?Mountain equipment shiviling gortex Pro, basically a lightweight but fully done gortex Pro jacket (waterproof zips sinching and good hood) nice jacket
>What do you want?Want to Try a gortex active jacket
>Do you have a running jacket?Yes a montane minimus 777 pullon, very lightweight pertex shield plus, works well but only under 15 c
>What's your layering situation like?Polertec light montane hoodie and a montane primaloft gold active trail pull on, forgotten name but its good insulation that you can wear on reverse to let in more air and breath better.
Use a montane pertex windshirt to hike in most weather that isn't warm and layer with my hoodie to make a good soft shell for fast hiking.
>Is Goretex Pro worth it?Yeah I would say so, its main benefit is that it lasts along time between waterproofing, has a massive hh and breathes OK
>Insulated jacket discussion will be allowed but be aware that you are on a tight leash.Have a mountain equipment prophet jacket, 80 g of primaloft gold and some fancy gore membrane that's waterproof and 'breathable' good for using around camp in wet British weather. Nice jacket would recommend if you get a deal.
