Typically you wait a day and when you flush it breaks apart into tiny pieces/slurry. That's what TP is designed to do, that's why your pipes don't get plugged every time you take a dump.
I suppose neither of you have been TP'd before either. I have tall trees, was TP'd once, couldn't reach it all. Within a week it was gone. Not blowing in the yard, not soggy in the trees, gone.
And I live in DFW TX. If it's buried it's fine.
