Yeah 4 season tents are pretty expensive generally. Quite specialised too in some respects, as you generally wouldn't want to be lugging the extra weight up a hill in summer unless you had to.
However, they can be picked up cheap second hand. I got pic related for £50 and it's a fucking bomn shelter, and only 4kg (yes that's actually half decent for what it is).
So look out for anythign 4 pole geodesic (terra nova quasar style) or perhaps some of the better made 3 pole designs and hope you get lucky.
