Currently I have my main rod and reel spooled up with 8lb mono
I also have my ultralight combo that used to have 4lb on, probably going to replace.
I have :
An old Shakespeare small spool , high capacity (can hold ~300yrds of 8lb)
A high capacity trolling spinning reel
Another medium/high capacity spinning reel
A Scooby Doo fishing pole I'm gonna use for ice fishing
I fish freshwater. My main rig I use for bass, walleye, steelhead/Salmon, etc
My ultralight I use for perch/bream, and bass fishing after work as I keep that in my car all the time.
There's a cabin my family has owned for many years with big pike, my pb is a 26 pounder, and also general musky fishing, I intend to use higher pound test then my main rod as I'm tired of line snaps.
What would you guys spool on my reels?
