Do you bushcrafter types think you might be able to use sisal twine for your LARPing please? It eventually breaks down and decomposes, can be used as tinder and won't cause long term fauna entrapment hazards. Waaayyy cheaper than 550 paracord and you can just cut it down when finished or leave it in place.
