All the seasonal FY 2019 postings for the forest service have been posted onto USAjobs and closed because ASC got a bug up their ass about centralizing the hiring process and having it all done by January 20th so that through some miracle they could issue every seasonal a lincpass because they decided last season that every seasonal should have one too.
Literally no one in my office was even aware of this until I mentioned it because an acquaintance at ASC had leaked me the powerpoint slides with the timeline.
Additionally agencywide, hardly anyone even got over the phone interviews, they were simply called with their offer, and I don't actually know what happened with anyone that declined.
