Here is another fresh bin I recently built. All that stuff on top is crushed egg shells which I hadn't mixed in yet. This bin is part of a Worm Factory 360 set, which is a tiered system of bins that stack on top on each other. The bins come with a bunch of holes at the bottom so the worms can freely travel between the tiers. When the top tier starts getting full you can harvest the lowest tier and add a new tier on top. As time progresses the worms will tend gravitate upwards towards the fresh food and bedding, making harvesting the castings from the bottom level easier. These systems are convenient but are actually quite expensive at around $100 for a set.
