my puukko doesnt have any, but the handle feels comfortable enough that i dont worry about slipping. it did kinda worry me at first. i think it has to do with the ergonomics of the handle and also the wood texture. its not a full tang knife so the handle isnt metal with a couple of things slapped on the side to fill out the hand. it is one big hunk of wood carved to feel better in your hand than your dick. it just feels that good.
