>>505476Yeah, for post burn treatment, aloe is good. Sunburns especially. For non-sunburns use yellow mustard, the kind you put on hotdogs. The instant you get burned, cool it off with water, if it is an oil burn use soap and water to remove the oils and cool it off. Get the yellow mustard on it ASAP (soy sauce also works for the same chemical, but is difficult to apply and maintain). Apply thickly. Leave the mustard on the area for 15 mins then wash it off. That's all you need to do, don't use it on broken skin. If you get burned and 5+ minutes have passed before you can get yellow mustard on the burn, it usually doesn't help nearly as much or not at all, so get it on ASAP.
I've been using yellow mustard for ten years now for burn treatment and skin protection. It stops skin damage like magic. No blisters, no pain, etc. Keep it in the fridge to also help the coolness sooth the burned area, but this isn't required for it to work. So, you can keep some packets in your 1st aid kit too.
Google, "yellow mustard burn".
As for cuts, Vitamin E from those gel caps works really well I find, but I rarely use it anymore.
