I've been wearing my Asolo Flame GTX boots for a couple of years now I think and they're holding up great. My only gripes are that they're described as being shock absorbent and having good grip and I find neither to be true. In winter I wear wool inserts in them for warmth which helps a little with the hardness but the trails I walk often have boulders to scramble up and if it's wet and slippy, the lack of grip is a pain.
Anyone know if their newer boots have better soles?
