>>217240My current backpacks:
>Lundhags Railer 70You won't find this model anymore, it's many years old and they've changed the design a lot for their current ones. I don't know if there are fashion trends for backpacks but it seems like the big backpacks now all look very similar from different manufacturers.
Anyway, I've used this a lot, more in travelling abroad than outdoorsmanship, but it performs well. It lacks a lot of the details you'd get now and some modern features, but it's simple and functional and hasn't worn at all. Variable main compartment with inner straps has kept my bought goods safe through numerous plane rides even though it's a soft pack.
Size wise, for backpacking trips, it's just right for me (180cm tall, broad shouldered). Especially since I always have another bag with me for the tech gear and tools.
>Haglöfs Corker Large (20l)This is more of a city pack than outdoors pack, but is also great for travel. It has a stiffer shell to keep its shape, it has a side loading main compartment with laptop flap, and the top compartment has been perfect to keep for the camera. The straps are comfortable, but the top handle quality was poor, it tore and I took it off after a short while. I probably have warranty but I haven't bothered. They changed the design slightly since.
Could not be more pleased with this for travel. Works as a daypack. Probably not for hardcore /out/ adventures.
>Bonus- Guess my nationality? ;)
- Currently looking for a cheap but rugged pack for more /out/ adventures that I can keep loaded and ready to go. Will be monitoring the thread.
