Just make a hoop from PVC pipe or PEX pipe, get some shower curtain hoops to go on it then some of those space blankets/emergency blankets/Mylar blanket that are ultra cheap. If you have a shelving unit, just wrap it in the emergency blankets. Commercial grow tents are super expensive. If you need something stiffer, you can glue/tape it to cardboard. You can make some pretty large grow boxes or grow tents for the price of an average meal.

That usually only happens in areas with high levels of squirrels that are trying to get as much food anywhere as they can possibly get. Once you have a squirrel problem, you'll always have one until they are completely removed. They are little more than tree rats after all.
