Very long spines which are barbed and hooooly shit they hurt to get out, especially if you hit them at any speed, like on a motorbike. They grow anywhere temperate (-5 to +45C) and next to impossible to get rid of.
If you're somewhere wet, Lantana will overgrow the entire neighbourhood and render it uninhabitable in about a year, it is fucking evil though
