I grind the snus using my ugly bodum coffee grinder, but for less time than I run it snuff. It's not essential to turn it to dust, and the snus actually has better textural properties if we leave it just a little coarse. Something like someone mixed whole grain flour with a little cornmeal is optimal.
However! all the fine stuff that sticks to the lid is an extremely fine ground natural snuff that can't be ignored. Save this for later, or have a pinch to help you work. It's good stuff.
