Was fishing at a lake and I hooked something that must of been a giant or I'm just too much a beginner to actually reel something like that in. I felt a few nibbles on my line, didn't jerk it or anything. All of a sudden, my rod bends like fucking crazy. I, for the life of me, could not reel whatever that thing was in. My question is, is it because I'm using a dirt cheap rod, too big/small of a hook, or did I somehow wind up hooking a log or some shit?
