A harsh economic crisis can occur or even some kind of global pandemic but nothing close to full /out/ societal collapse. Just have some decent food reserves, batteries, gas and maybe a generator if you live in a harsh climate, being a gun owner also goes without saying, be /fit/ and don't act retarded by playing tough guy. Bug in and let shit pass, if you like and fits your life goals living a simple and more sustainable life with a plot of land to grow your own food is the way to go and a good insurance against pretty much everything, even a next level happening.
