Winter is hard on things. Continuous heavy use is hard on things.
IDK everything but it I do know it happens. More often than you would think. I've seen it multiple times. And anybody scrapping together their own /diy/ heating or battery charging system in some hippie van or makeshift RV is even more likely to cause this as well. Things have UL safety ratings and duty cycle ratings for a reason.
Im not sayin people dont live successfully in RVs in ND. Many people do. But in Winter I wouldn't try with anything less than a newer manufacture, fully self contained, winterized RV. Even thought its not really what they are built for.
