I have one pack, a ULA Catalyst. 75L.
I use it for hiking, backpacking, camping, jetty/surf fishing, and I can fit bear cans and an entire 3 tray tackle box in there.
I went day hiking the other day and you know what I had in there? Water, a jetboil, a medkit, and 2 ham sandwiches.
And you know what? I was okay with it. Because even if the bag has practically nothing in it, it is still light and serves its purpose. If I was multi-day backpacking, I can cram that sucker full and it would again serve its purpose.
I am not a raging autist who spends real money on smaller and smaller bags only because it "feels better".
