>>1762602's advice, go for less competition. if I restock anything, it will probably be the bream and maybe see about getting some crawfish dumped in the tank, I haven't seen any though I haven't exactly looked very hard for them.
Thanks for replies, here's a pic of the place. It was a very deep ditch where rainwater drained, grandad had it dammed up in the 80s and it took nearly a decade to catch enough water to really fill up for him to stock it. There's more water surface than you can fully see on the map. the necks where water drains down into it are fairly narrow and run quite a ways up under the tree cover. There are lots of old dead tree trunks standing in the water so there's lots of shade, cover, and general architecture in the water I've read the fish enjoy
