Now to end the evening, a quick word about why I love beans so much. I started this plant back in march or so and planted it outside once the heavy frosts were done. It's given us tons of beans over the last few months, but now it's starting to die back and produce less. Fortunately some of the first pods it put out I didn't harvest and let turn to seed. And these now are those bean seeds, starting to sprout and ready to be planted. In a few weeks just as this plant puts out it's last fruit of the season, it's offspring will be just getting going and ready to shower with more beans till the frost comes.
