>>397946I think you are a little confused. I don't let them set for days in a trap. If they are set, I check them every day. Most catches happen during the night and I'm checking them in the morning. So they aren't left that long. There aren't really any injuries if you are using proper sized trap for the animal you are targeting. If they were injured I wouldn't be releasing. Pic is a satisfied customer.
I've often thought what would be so bad about releasing injured animals anyway? It's like they got into a fight with a predator and got away. I've caught a few animals that had such encounters and I don't see it being any worse than that.
