>>2735674Depends on cultivar, look at those, tiny dwarf tomatoes in 1.5 liter pots doing just fine, meanwhile my indeterminate tomatoes are rooting through holes in 5 liter pots.
Also dwarf peppers here in 2.5 liter pots doing fine, I have absolutely tiny "Popuila" peppers and they are still fine in half a liter pots.
Peppers in general need smaller pots, I find advice that they need massive 15 liters pots at least to be an overkill.
Furthermore you can just prune them if they have too much foliage compared to root mass.
