this guy is a true hidden gem
its only about 1.4lbs but all the weight is in the head, and its an extramly heavy swing. just from the feel, i know i can chop a decent sized tree down with this, along with doing everything else you would with an axe
the handle is hallow ABS, with a solid molding into an opening cut into the base of the axe head, so its secured pretty strong
seriously, this thing weighs half the weight of my "ultralight" sleeping bag
great defense weapon too, ontop of general utlity
anyway i think carrying a combo of this, and a nice sharp, small foldable knife is the best way
