I use 80# on it, and its a little low on capacity but still not enough for me to rather have a 400. I 100% recommend the lexa HD. I also upgraded from a pro max, and I'd rather cast light lures on that setup than my pro max. Also the lexa hd has a 8:1 ratio so it's really similar in retrieve to the pro max. Although I use it for musky, that reel has brought in hundreds of pike without exaggeration.
