This is the side of Mt. Yonah in Georgia. 3 of my friends and I did ~30 miles on the A.T. around Helen, GA, then decided to go up Mt. Yonah.
We were doing a little bouldering since we didn't bring any gear to actually climb. This picture shows us going up a steep point using the guard lines. I'm (shirtless) on the right and my good friend, Sterling, is on the left. We were taking this trip since we had all just graduated high school and Sterling was about to go off and join the Rangers. We picked Yonah for an excursion off the A.T. because Sterling had spent summers there attending/working at the Ranger Camp.
