If you're just going to buy them and eat them over the next week or so they're overpriced garbage and you'd bebetter off just buying any old frozen boil-in-bag meals, letting them defrost and taking those. I've done that before with spaghetti bolognese and curries, just cut the side with the rice/spaghetti off and cook your own fresh. Works out about a tenth of the price of Mountain House.
If you're looking for minimal weight then go for dried/dehydrated. Either buy a cheap dehydrator and put your own meals together or just buy ready made.
