And I do a very autistic thing when it comes to food. I go to different grocery stores and I take pictures of the food labels of every food item I'm interested in, and their price. I then go home and input all the data in an Excel table to compare all the food items and rate them per kcal/100g, fat/carbs/protein content and their overall price per kcal.
This allows me to select the best /out/ food for the price. This is the autistic poorfag way (although even if you're not a poorfag the data is still valuable).
So last year it was around 6€ of food per day for 3000kcal per day. No cooking required, I go stoveless.
But I redid the list and changed the type of food I was looking for, so this year I think the price per day will be even lower and the food will be much more enjoyable because I only listed food items that I know I will enjoy. Last year the food was kinda horrible and I didn't enjoy eating it. You want to pack food that you like/love, so there must only be such food in your list. Then you pick the food with the best ratios from that list.
