I'll bite too. I don't actually larp about le innawoods, but my God do I think about it alot. I'm a 22 year old LEAF working on being a high school history teacher. Should have an easy, comfy, government-subsidized job with a great pension and loads of benefits in a small town by the time I'm 26. By the time I'm 30 I want to have "homestead" shit set up and running. A few acres of nice land, supply stores, means to get my own water, food, and power (within reason). The next few years will be dedicated to working towards being able to afford this plan and learning about where the fuck I need to start. So I will cap this roundabout blogpost with a simple question: what can I do now and over the next few years to prepare myself for the semi-homestead life? Reccs for books, documentaries, online personalities, sites, etc are all appreciated.
