The newer one (#1) with the coating is from the 1950-1960 era I think. I still have the box for the latter one. They cost like $12-$20 at yardsales and antique stores around here.

I do use a Victoria/Corona grain mill for grinding nixtamal and dehydrated vegetables and fruit for various things. It is nearly brand new though.
