It's a great old tree which would produce a metric tonne of fruit if not thinned. But when apples get this old and big they tend towards biennialism, unless you thin aggressively in 'on years'. For scale pic was taken from the roof, also notice the shed off to the side. The drip line is 15m diameter and I can walk under the tree without any of the hanging branches touching my head (I'm 6'2").
Bramley's Seedling is the third biggest variety of apple known, after Forest Styre (presumed extinct) and Blenhim Orange (aka Kempster's Pippin).
