don't worry they have enough space, they live on a mountain cottage in the alps in the summer now (where this picture was taken) the fence you see is just to keep the cows out
the ducks roam freely over the whole area and come back at night
In my experience they will also pick berries off bushes sometimes and they love sunflowers (they wait for the flower to fall over and then eat all the seeds)
