Just got myself a pair of these Salewas I prefer half-shoes on the mountain all the time because I usually do some trailrunning and these have a sturdy sole and good debris protection on the side. My old Salomons got completely torn up from sliding down all the debris, the laces broke several times and the sole is completely ripped. I hope these will work better for me.
