Crazy thread, exactly what I've been looking for.
I'm collecting resources for a future video game I had in mind, and I am not a big fan of boring sound libraries that everyone has access to, and want some high quality unique ambient, sound effects.
Didnt know it was such a huge science to it however.
I have alot to read here.
I'm mainly interested in outdoor ambient noise, recording individual animals at my buddies farm, but also "macro recording", basicly super sensitive microphone, doing very creepy or interesting sound clips from household items, then skew them in soundprogram. Ghosts, demons, spooky noises in hellish deep caves.
